BOTOX FAQS

Q - What is Botox?
Botox, a sterile, purified protein produced from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum, may be used as an injectable filler to improve the appearance of facial wrinkles. Botox works by temporarily paralyzing the muscles responsible for wrinkles and has proven effective on forehead creases, brow furrows and crow’s feet. Wrinkles are softened and smoothed, providing a refreshed and more youthful appearance. Botox may also be used for the treatment of migraine headaches, excessive sweating and muscle spasms in the neck and eyes.
